AT LAST! Help for the road warrrior or vacationing family! National
INNdex <ASP> helps you quickly locate a motel in almost any town in
the USA of several thousand population or more.
Simply select the state and town you plan to visit, and National INN-
dex will provide you with a list of motels, including their national
chain affiliation, location, local phone number and national reserva-
tion number. You will also be informed of the availability (or non-
availability) of some basic features:
- Restaurant on the premises or nearby
- Cocktail lounge on the premises or nearby
- Indoor or outdoor swimming pool
- Meeting room facilities
This information can be displayed on-screen or in a printed report
(great to give to the boss).
Although National INNdex is aimed at traveling businessmen and vaca-
tioners, it is invaluable to anyone who travels.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
===================
National INNdex will run on any 100% IBM compatible computer subject
to the following requirements:
* Hard disk with 1 megebyte available (shareware version).
* 400kb of available conventional random access memory (RAM).
* MS-DOS 3.3 or IBM DOS 3.3 or higher.
INSTALLATION
============
National INNdex must be installed on your hard disk before it can be
run. You must do the installation even if you have downloaded the
program directly to your hard disk or if you have copied the distri-
bution files to your hard disk from a diskette or a CD-ROM.
To install National INNdex, start at the DOS prompt.
1. If you are installing from a diskette, insert the diskette into
drive A or B, and type "A:" or "B:" (without the quotes) as
appropriate and press <Enter>. Then type "Install" (without the
quotes) and press <Enter>.
2. If you are installing from your hard disk, simply type "Install"
(without the quotes) and press <Enter>.
Follow the brief on-screen instructions that will be displayed.
STARTING NATIONAL INNDEX
========================
To Start National INNdex:
1. At the DOS prompt, change to the National INNdex directory.
EXAMPLE: CD \dirname (substitute the correct directory
name for "dirname")
2. At the DOS prompt, type "INNDEX" (without the quotes).
If you use a menu program to start your applications, the startup file
is INNDEX.COM.
